“Wow wow wow! This place has a piece of my heart and I want to go back! Laura was so attentive and wonderful and there is so much to do for children: swimming (private via bookable slots), feeding alpacas, goats and chickens, park, basketball, tennis, games room – it’s such a good base to explore Devon.

We loved our freshly baked croissants in the morning, and just generally being outside here. The farm is beautiful, feels safe and secure. Will be recommending it to everyone with kids, and left feeling very wholesome. See you again! :)”

“We had a lovely stay at Pitt Farm while visiting Devon. There was a lot to do locally, as well as on the farm for families or just a couple looking to relax.

We are absolutely bookmarking for future trips! Lovely pool that’s private for your cottage for an hour at a time, local animals, and fresh eggs in the honesty shop. 10/10”

“We have just returned from the most wonderful holiday at Pitt Farm shared with three generations of our family. The house was extremely well equipped with everything you might need for all age groups. The owners were very friendly and made everyone feel welcome. We had a large table outside which we used every mealtime as the weather was so good. There was a fabulous kitchen table for breakfast and a huge table in the dining room.

All the bedrooms were a generous size and very comfortable. Lovely linen and towels. Each house on the farm had their own outdoor space and we were very private, even having our own swings in the garden. There were so many things to entertain children, a lovely warm swimming pool, a games room and playground. The favourite activities in our family were the morning animal feeding, the zip wires and the trampoline.
Perfectly placed for visiting lovely beaches and interesting towns. The area is very hilly, but we soon got used to it. We will definitely be going back. I would thoroughly recommend Pitt farm for a family holiday..”

“We returned a few days ago from a fantastic week at Pitt Farm. It was perfect, from the huge cottage which slept 12 & which was perfectly equipped, clean & comfortable, to the lovely indoor swimming pool, which we all used every day using the booking system. This meant each family staying on the farm had the pool to themselves when they booked.
The grounds were perfect for the children, zipwires, basketball, tennis courts, boules – indoor football table, & table tennis & lots of safe areas & dens to play around – & the animals, so many well cared for chickens, alpacas, goats & ducks. Highlight of each morning for the children was 8am feeding the animals with owner Laura, who was warm, friendly & welcoming. Laura recommended the Fortescue Arms a 20 min walk away & the food was exceptional. We had a lovely day in Dartmouth & another on Bigbury beach, both a short drive away. This is a holiday we will remember for a long time & we can’t recommend it more highly.”

“We had a wonderful family holiday, 3 generations, in Kimblewick Cottage. This was our second visit to Pitt Farm and I cannot fault anything.

The accommodation is clean, spacious, comfortable and has everything you need, including very comfortable beds and large fluffy towels! The pool and activities for the children are well maintained and very popular with all of us. The children particularly enjoyed feeding the animals each morning, a definite highlight.”

“We had a lovely week at Pitt Farm staying in Pelham as an extended family group. The house was very comfortable and well equipped and far more spacious than some of the large accommodation we have previously stayed in. We particularly liked the large dining table where we could all eat together without being squashed! The outside facilities are excellent, the children really enjoyed the play area, trampoline, games room, zip wires and tennis court. The pool was great and we used it every day, particularly nice to have it when the weather was grim. Animal feeding was great fun, Laura is so friendly and great with the children. The little honesty shop with lots of useful and interesting things to buy is such a good idea, especially in a location where you can’t walk to a shop. This is also a great area to visit, there is so much to see and do we barely scratched the surface in a week. Hopefully we can return in the future!”

“We have just returned from a wonderful Easter 🐣 weekend with our family. We cannot fault Pitt Farm it was everything & more , Laura & Richard were amazing hosts . We were a family of 6 adults 3 children 7 3 & 4 months. We had an amazing time in the pool the children loved feeding the animals in the morning & the play area games room were first class We had two children who didn’t want to leave . We stayed in the Kimblewick cottage.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pitt Farm cottages, staying in their Martingale Cottage. The cottage itself was really lovely, so many nice touches and extras. The facilities on the farm were brilliant too. There was so much to keep the children and adults entertained. We were a party of 11, ranging in age from 6 months to 67 years. We went swimming frequently, played tennis, table tennis, used the play park, trampoline, zip lines, and they really enjoyed feeding the alpacas, goats and chickens in the morning. Thank you so much for an excellent stay and making us all feel so welcome.”

“Martingale was a great place for our 10 person (3 kids) 3 generation holiday. Accommodation was excellent, facilities were fun and hosts were welcoming. The location gave access to beautiful South Devon coastal beaches. I have no reservations in recommending Pitt Farm.”

“Our fourth year staying at the wonderful Pitt Farm Cottages. My husband and I stayed at Cavasson with our 4 week old baby (with other family in Mullen) , and could not fault Laura and Richard as hosts! They went out of their way to make our stay perfect – including accommodating early check in and leaving a lovely gift for our little one! Gorgeous setting, fabulous hosts and lots of thoughtful little touches. Perfect for a family get away , especially with little ones. We look forward to returning again! Thanks Laura and Richard!”

“Laura and Richard warmly welcomed us for our second holiday at Pitt Farm. The cottages are spacious and really comfortable, the swimming pool, table tennis and table football great family activities. With a zipwire, trampoline and opportunities to feed the animals there is no need to leave the farm at all, but if you want to venture out the nearby beaches are wonderful. Highly recommended. I cannot praise this place enough. We absolutely loved it. The six grandchildren had so much fun together it was lovely to watch. They didn’t want to leave the place at all over the weekend and were asking on our second day to come back for another holiday”

“We have just returned from a weekend stay at Pitt Farm (Pelham Cottage). We stayed at Pitt Farm with friends. There were 8 adults and 4 children. The highlights were feeding the animals with Laura in the mornings, the outdoor play equipment and the pool. Laura was great with the children and they looked forward to seeing her for egg collecting. She was so patient and kind and went the extra mile for them. The cottage was 5*. It was extremely well equipped, clean and tidy. The zip wires, tennis court, games room and basketball hoop were well used by adults and children! The tray of goodies on arrival was lovely and the order of warm breakfast pastries went down we”

“Our group of 14 (8 adults and 6 children) had a fantastic time staying in Martingale and Cavasson. Richard and Laura were ever so helpful through out our stay and the facilities were incredible! Our troop particularly enjoyed the toy wooden village hidden up in the woods and the abundance of play equipment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pitt Farm to any mixed-age group.”

“We have just returned from a week at Pitt Farm, staying in Snaffle with our daughter and family. The hosts, Laura and Richard, were very welcoming, as usual. The cottage is very well equipped and immaculate. Our grandsons, aged 10 and 12 loved feeding the animals and learning more about them from Laura. She is very patient with all the children. The swimming pool is a great favourite with all of us. There are plenty of play/sports equipment to keep everyone entertained. The zip line is a particular favourite of the boys. This was our second stay in Snaffle and we will be returning next year. We would highly recommend Pitt Farm..”

“Our 3 generations had a fantastic time over half term week. We had stayed at Pitt Farm 7 years ago when the kids were babies and toddlers and it is much better than we remembered. So good in fact that we booked for the October half term next year whilst we were still there! Laura and Richard are excellent hosts with nothing being too much trouble. Kimblewick was superb, extremely well equipped and clean. The swimming pool is a great asset and the hourly booking slots for separate cottages works very well. The welcome gift “hamper” was very much appreciated.”

“Just finished our fifth stay at Pitt Farm, this time in Mullen. We love the place SO much. The setting is beautiful and the hosts Laura and Richard are so warm and friendly. Our daughters adore feeding the animals every morning and Laura is amazing with them. The facilities are all great and the cottage really well set up. The location is fabulous for so many beaches within easy reach and loads of activities – come rain or shine. We’ve already booked again for next year, our family can’t wait to return.”

“What a gem of a place! We had the most lovely stay at the Pitt Farm cottages. We stayed at the Cavasson, which sleeps 2 and it was good size for us + a toddler. It impeccably clean and lovingly decorated. Our little one was endlessly entertained by the ride-on tractor, swings, the playground and the friendly animals, which made our stay very relaxing. We used the swimming pool a couple of times. It was warm and with the booking system, you always have it to yourself which was an added bonus. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to come back already!”

“We’ve just returned from a 5 day trip to Pitt Farm for the first time and have already booked to go back next year. We absolutely loved everything about Pitt Farm and had the best first holiday as a family of three. Our young baby had been accommodated for with a travel cot, changing mat and highchair all ready for use. The kitchen had everything we needed for our evening dinners in and was clean and new. The location was perfect and we felt there was so much we could’ve gone to do with just a short drive. We enjoyed a full day at the cottage enjoying the animals, peaceful walks, the swimming pool and garden space. Laura and Richard are fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to return next year!”
